Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I would like to take a moment to express my sympathy for all those victims of the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake. In the midst of this unprecedented disaster, I feel that more than anything, I would like to show the love of God to those who are suffering. I want to stretch out a hand of support, prayer, and petition that will bring comfort, encouragement and life giving strength to those in need. I am sure that everyone has already lifted up hands of prayer and reached out to help, but I encourage all of you to come together and pray, give, and serve all the more.
Therefore show these men the proof of your love and the reason for our pride in you, so that the churches can see it. (2 Corinthians 8:24 NIV)
